Experience F.W. Murnau’s haunting 1922 silent film Nosferatu like never before, with a live cello performance by Brooklyn-based cellist Agustin Uriburu and an original score by Argentine composer Claudio Peña. This one-of-a-kind event, merges cinema and music into an immersive, spine-tingling journey.
The performance has been presented to sold-out audiences at Bad Therapy Bar and Red Pavilion in Brooklyn.

Agustin Uriburu
Hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Agustín Uriburu is a Brooklyn-based cellist, guitarist, composer, and arranger.
As a bandleader, he has released two records, Santa Fe and the recently issued EP Buenos Aires Sessions Vol. 1. His music, rooted in the cello and often approached in a rhythmic, bass-like role, draws from the soundscapes of New York and Buenos Aires, blending jazz, South American folklore, rock, and classical. He is also the founder of the Brooklyn String Collective (string nonet) and performs live solo cello scores over silent films like Noseratu.
Agustin is a sought-after collaborator who has worked with artists including the Jonas Brothers, Ben Platt, Nick Jonas, and jazz figures such as Leo Genovese and Uri Caine. He recently completed a U.S. tour with Cazzu, and has appeared on Grammy and Latin Grammy-winning recordings with Residente.
He has performed at venues such as Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall, and remains active in New York’s contemporary and off-Broadway music scene.
