At this time last year, Joel Mack was still in the studio for classes and milongas.  He celebrated his last birthday while attending the Philadelphia Tango Festival in May 2025.  He passed away in November, and we miss him greatly.

When Joel knew that he would not be dancing with us anymore, it was his wish that we would enjoy a milonga—his treat.  Please join us for a community dinner and Milonga Qilombo, celebrating Joel's life, on Saturday, April 25.  Both dinner and milonga are FREE, but we ask you to please register due to limited space.

If you plan to attend the dinner, please choose a main dish, side dish, appetizer or dessert to contribute and let us know what you are bringing.  This helps us coordinate the offerings.  If you have food allergies or sensitivities, please email that info too.

7-7:30 pm: Arrival & Appetizers
7:30-7:50 pm: Memorial for Joel
8-9 pm: Dinner
9:30 pm- 2am: Milonga with DJ Pablo Garcia Gomez
