We are incredibly honored to have pianist Ariel Pirotti, a Gardel Award winner and Latin Grammy nominee, joining us this Wednesday, May 25. This will be our last Wednesday of events before the Philadelphia Tango Festival.

Here’s the plan:
7-8 pm: Intermediate Tango
8-9 pm: Beginner Tango (Free ages 30 and under)
9 pm-midnight: Palermo Fishtown Milonga with DJ Oz, and a short, seated concert by pianist Ariel Pirotti

ARIEL PIROTTI: BIO

Ariel Pirotti was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a pianist, composer, arranger, orchestra director and teacher. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree of Musical Arts from the National University of the Arts (UNA) in Argentina. He was granted and awarded by the National Fund of the Arts (FNA), and received the “Gobbi de Oro 2011”, Prize awarded by the National Academy of Tango. He was nominated for the Latin Grammy 2017 in the category “Best Tango Album." He was the winner of the 2016 Gardel Award for “Best New Tango Artist."
